PORZIO RIOS GARCIA has made José Joaquín Laso new partner of the firm. He has focused his professional practice for 20 years, mainly on corporate law, stock market and sports law. He participated in the creation process of the concession companies of the two main Chilean professional soccer clubs, and its opening on the stock market. At present, he advises one of them in corporate governance matters, relationship with the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance, issuance of shares, contracting and transfer of players, and national and international litigation.
Previously, he was partner at Guerrero Olivos firm, where he directed the area of sports law.
José Joaquín Laso is a legal attorney. He studied at Finis Terrae University.During 2008 and 2009, he worked at the Australian firm Gilbert and Tobin, after completing a Master of Laws at The University of Sydney.
